Salary Range

$101,300.00 - $151,925.00

Overview The Information Services Consultant 3 - Digital Collections and Preservation will:

Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support of existing and new digital collection and preservation systems, including supporting technologies such as ingest, digitization, storage, integrations and associated media delivery systems.

Manage digital collection ingest processes, queues, and integrations with related external systems.

Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, the LIT Software Engineering and DevOps teams, as well as Yale central ITS, on development, deployment, maintenance and upgrades to ensure that systems are resilient, stable, secure, supported, and current.

Develop and maintain technical and workflow documentation for the digital repository and IT components of preservation infrastructure.

Maintain a broad and detailed mastery of the services and internal operations of the units served, ensuring seamless integration and support.

Required Skills and Abilities

Preferred Skills and Abilities

Experience with Java, Linux, Stack Trace, Preservica.

Principal Responsibilities

Performs complex data/information gathering techniques; evaluates the quality of the information by considering source, relevancies, and timeliness.

Collaborates with team members and clients to drive development of project deliverables and strategies.

Researches, aggregates, and analyzes a variety of data/information; synthesizes large and complex quantities of information; extracts meaningful insights and makes recommendations.

Develops and presents comprehensive and complex reports, recommendations, trainings, and presentations to a variety of audiences.

Required Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree and seven years of experience or equivalent education and experience.

Skills and Abilities Proven experience in complex project management. Developed analytical, creative thinking and problem‑solving skills. Developed interpersonal, written, communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Proven ability to develop detailed proposals, presentations, and plans.
