Corporate Counsel
The Corporate Counsel will help manage legal risk, ensure compliance, and deliver strategic legal guidance for a growing corporation. This role handles a wide range of legal matters and collaborates closely with the General Counsel and internal teams to advance company goals.
Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Risk & Compliance:
Develop and maintain risk management and compliance programs to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
Enterprise Risk Assessment:
Lead company-wide assessments to identify and mitigate legal risks.
Policy Development:
Draft, update, and maintain company policies, including the employee handbook and workplace procedures.
Contract Management:
Draft, review, and negotiate routine contracts such as vendor agreements, service contracts, and NDAs.
Outside Counsel Management:
Manage relationships with outside counsel, including budgeting, billing, and performance oversight.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
7+ years of legal experience, ideally with both firm and in-house roles.
Expertise in corporate and contract law; strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
Exceptional analytical, writing, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Highly detail-oriented self-starter who works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
