Senior Manufacturing Manager (Machined Parts/Metals)
We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Manager (Machined Parts/Metals) with 15+ years of experience to lead complex manufacturing initiatives for aerospace components and assemblies. This role is responsible for driving process innovation, ensuring production efficiency, and supporting strategic programs across engineering, operations, and quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering; advanced degree preferred
20+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience machining (metals, metallics, hard metals)
20+ years of experience with machined parts or aircraft gear
15+ years of experience working with production, tooling, and machine shop products
Key Responsibilities
Lead development and optimization of manufacturing processes for composite and metallic aerospace structures
Provide technical oversight for new product introduction, tooling design, and process validation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges and improve yield
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality and performance issues
Support capital projects, automation strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to long-term technical planning
