Job Description The purpose of this position is to provide essential administrative processes, technical knowledge, and direction to promote Fluor’s competitiveness.
Responsibilities
Develop and review estimates and schedules, progress reports, and workforce forecasts.
Establish, track, and monitor material key quantities; provide analysis and forecasts.
Develop and review specifications, including design criteria.
Participate in procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities.
Perform and check calculations, specify equipment, and solve complex engineering problems.
Mentor and develop staff, conduct training seminars, and provide performance appraisals.
Analyze and recommend solutions to problems of varying complexity.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Accredited four‑year degree or global equivalent in engineering and ten years of related experience.
Professional certification or registration in the applicable field is preferred.
Effective communication with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and contractors.
Technical knowledge required for the role.
Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal statutes and guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills.
Professional registration and membership in technical societies (preferred).
Advanced knowledge of discipline codes, standards, and cost of materials.
Effort‑hour estimating and staff forecasting.
Experience managing and leading a large project.
Project set‑up, control‑level scheduling, progress reporting, and close‑out.
Practical field experience.
Proficient computer skills with word processing, email, spreadsheets, and presentation tools.
Other Job Requirements
Provide proof of U.S. citizenship.
Proficiency in pressurization analysis, CFD, and ASME AG‑1.

Lead discipline experience.
