About the Job Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big‑picture challenges.
As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior‑level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

The team researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users' interaction with computing faster, seamless, and more powerful.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $113,000‑$162,000, plus bonus, equity and benefits.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Ability to be organized, strategically focused, and manage ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment.
Ability to take charge, set objectives, and generate results while building long‑term relationships across organizational boundaries with all C‑levels.
Excellent leadership and people‑management skills.
Excellent financial modeling skills, SQL proficiency, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Lead the monthly profit and loss reporting process, partnering with cross‑functional teams to understand trends and variance drivers.
Own and drive consistent recurring FP&A reporting, including monthly variance analysis for forecast/actual and actual/plan.
Inform forecast updates and provide comprehensive financial data for Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and quarterly earnings reporting for Digital Supply Chain and Business Operations (DSBO) leadership.
Enhance the effectiveness of key finance processes, including financial planning, reporting, and business reviews.
Develop and maintain data tools and dashboards to streamline financial reporting and analysis.
