About the Role In the role of Senior Business Consultant specializing in IBOR (Investment Book of Records), you will work primarily on implementation projects, focusing on the IBOR area, and will be responsible for all aspects of the project stream. You will act as a sparring partner for clients and effectively monitor, coordinate, and elevate issues as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead major parts of SimCorp Dimension® implementation projects, translating customers’ requirements and processes related to Investment Operations into optimal solutions.

Co‑operate closely with the project manager, playing a key role in delivering projects to success.

Utilise SimCorp’s Global Standard Solutions for project delivery.

Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding SimCorp Dimension®.

Instruct and mentor less experienced colleagues on job‑specific tasks.

Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote knowledge across projects.

Actively participate in know‑how exchange with colleagues internationally.

Qualifications

Previous experience as an Analyst or (Implementation) Consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks, or consulting firms.

Excellent know‑how in at least two of the following areas: Asset Management – Back Office – or Financial Reporting; Consulting or Professional Services within the Asset Management sector; Implementation role for a software vendor specializing in Asset Management software.

Asset Management candidates: 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience with investment operations and related enterprise applications; Consultants: multiple enterprise implementations involving IBOR functions on the buy side, and hands‑on experience with applications similar to SimCorp Dimension.

Experience with trade processing, including confirmation and/or trade settlement processes and solutions (plus).

Degree in Business discipline (Accounting, Finance, Economics) or Mathematics/Applied Sciences preferred.

Self‑starter with a can‑do mindset, strong time management, and the ability to deliver results on time.

Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (oral and written).

Basic understanding of financial industry/products and related accounting.

Hands‑on experience with SimCorp Dimension (plus).

Willingness to travel to client sites up to 50% and attend the SimCorp office 2×/week as per the hybrid policy (3×/week in NYC).

Compensation For Toronto only: Salary range $119,000 – $148,000 CAD (base); for New York City only: Salary range $139,000 – $173,000 USD, plus annual discretionary bonus and benefits (health & dental care, time off, Group RRSP/TFSA). Base pay may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
