LHH is searching for a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Accountant in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This opportunity is with a well-established public accounting firm serving a diverse and loyal client base across New Mexico. Responsibilities:
Lead tax practice efforts and support development of junior staff
Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and fiduciary tax returns
Manage multiple projects and deadlines, especially during busy season
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Experience required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA preferred
4+ years of recent public accounting experience (5+ for Manager-level consideration)
Strong experience preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and fiduciary tax returns
Proficiency with professional tax software (Lacerte, UltraTax, Drake, CCH, etc.)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Strong interpersonal and client communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, especially during busy season
Salary Range:
$80k–$130k based on experience.
Hours:
Monday–Friday; additional hours during peak season as needed.
