Job Overview The position is responsible for identifying new opportunities and selling Signals Solutions within Clinical markets.
The Signals group is a growing, entrepreneurial team selling Software and Service Solutions that combine innovative software with the resources of a $2.5+ billion organization. The role focuses on complex software and service sales cycles, requiring a competitive, drive‑oriented individual with strong product knowledge and customer‑relationship skills.
Key Responsibilities
Understand the Clinical Development landscape, including challenges in trial execution, data integration and analytics.
Identify and prioritize clinical accounts in the territory that would benefit from Clinical Informatics solutions.
Develop account plans, prospect, qualify leads and pursue new business (hunter mindset).
Build relationships with key decision makers and articulate the business and economic value of the solutions.
Create and deliver compelling sales presentations.
Develop a robust sales pipeline and manage the full software sales cycle from opportunity to contract.
Negotiate complex software and service contracts.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts and cycle reporting.
Coordinate pre‑sales and consulting resources to support the sales process.
Basic Requirements
5+ years of experience selling enterprise software to enterprise accounts.
3+ years of experience selling into Clinical Development or related Life Science functions.
Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota.
Preferred Qualifications
General knowledge of the Clinical/Life Science industry.
Understanding of business intelligence or analytics (desired).
Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
Strong organizational, presentation and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with sales methodology training and strong customer references.
Logistics
Must be legally able to work in the United States.
Must be willing to travel as required by the position.
Compensation Base salary range: $120,000 – $130,000 per year.
Range reflects target pay for new hires; actual offer considers internal equity, location and experience.
Total compensation includes bonuses, equity and benefits.
