About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Care Manager to lead a team of respiratory therapists across all shifts. This role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care, oversees department operations, and supports clinical and professional development of staff.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and mentor respiratory therapy staff. Develop and implement clinical protocols and standards of care. Monitor compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulations. Manage performance, conduct reviews, and support professional growth. Oversee education, orientation, and onboarding for respiratory staff. Participate in regulatory inspections and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications : Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program; master’s preferred. NY State Respiratory Therapy license & Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). BLS required; ACLS, NRP, PALS required or within 3 months. Minimum 5 years acute care respiratory therapy experience; leadership experience preferred. Neonatal Pediatric Specialty (NPS) and CPFT credentials preferred.
