About the Job The Admin-HR role provides administrative support to the Human Resources department. This includes maintaining employee records, reviewing payroll reports for accuracy and ensuring timely sign-off for processing, coordinating recruitment and onboarding, assisting with HR policies and procedures, handling employee inquiries, supporting HR projects, and helping ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Strong organizational, communication, attention to detail, confidentiality and discretion are essential.
What You\'ll Do Execute assigned HR administrative responsibilities and tasks accurately and timely (e.g., hiring, termination, and job information changes).
Collaborate with recruiters to develop strategies to meet regional goals.
Assist in investigating employee grievances or complaints.
Prepare and distribute headcount, termination, and staffing reports.
Ensure payroll activity (hours and payroll payments) is submitted for timely processing.
Conduct training programs such as EEO/Harassment, Business Conduct, etc.
Utilize HRIS technologies effectively.
Support merit planning processes and systems.
Assist employees/retirees with benefits, including new hire enrollment, mid-year changes and open enrollment.
Advise on wages and compensation in line with region and company policies.
Ensure area locations comply with company and regional policies and fair employment laws.
Work with the HR team on employee communications.
Maintain all HR records (personnel, medical, DOT).
May assist with the DOT drug and alcohol testing program.
Manage leave programs (personal leave, FMLA) and advise on leave policies.
Respond to employee requests for HR assistance and participate in recruiting activities as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Skills You’ll Need Education BA/BS required; preferably in human resources, business, psychology, or related field.
PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
Experience Minimum of 3 years of HR experience preferred. Experience in an industrial environment and HRIS, compensation and payroll is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities General knowledge of current HR policies and practices.
Knowledge of labor and employment practices including EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OFCCP and related laws.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Oral and written communication skills with effective listening.
Personal and professional integrity and high confidentiality.
Assertiveness and ability to influence where appropriate.
