Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Behavioral Emergency Response Team
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Patient Care Technician (PCT) Day Shifts available and you can set your own schedule! MedTrust is currently accepting applications for Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) positions for a full time night opening at the National Institute for Research, Bethesda, Maryland. CNAs with Maryland Certification only are eligible on this contract. Selected candidates will receive training on our Patient Care Technician competencies and Crisis Prevention Training. Requires a Maryland Certified Nursing Assistance certification. Requires 2-3 years of experience in behavioral health and acute care in a hospital setting. Schedule is for full time (40 hrs. per week): choose either schedule: (1) day shift (7am- 3:30p) with rotation to weekends and holidays as needed (1) evening shift (3p-11:30pm) with rotation to weekends and holidays as needed (1) night shift (11p-7:30am) with rotation to weekends and holidays as needed Please email your resume (with psychiatric hospital experience) to ErinJ@MyMedTrust.com Compensation: $18/hour plus $1/hour as night shift dif for all hours worked plus $4.23/hour for benefits. Will respond with the Code BERT (Behavioral Emergency Response Team) as needed, to patients who are experiencing an escalation in behavior requiring additional staff support. Will also manage a patient assignment on assigned patient care unit. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Experience: Minimum of 1 year current experience as a CNA/PCT in a Behavioral/Psychiatric Unit in a hospital setting Certification: Current Basic Life Support for Health care Providers (BLS) Current unrestricted Maryland CNA certification MedTrust requires proof of vaccinations or Titer Immunity prior to start We are proud partners with the Department of Defenses Military Spouse Employment Program.
