Qualifications

• Positive and motivated self‑starter.
• Curious and independent problem‑solver.
• Eager to learn and grow with a company dedicated to your development.
• At least three or more years of experience with heavy equipment.
• Worked in a shop for more than five years as a diesel mechanic.
• Must have 5+ years experience with Dealer Level Training in Paccar, Cummins and or Detroit.
• Proficient in using computer systems & applications.
• 5+ years of experience as a technician working on heavy‑duty trucks.
• Ability to perform PM inspections and repairs on heavy‑duty trucks, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, electrical and diesel emissions.
• Base salary DOE at $75,000‑85,000.

What You'll LOVE Doing

• Analyzing and diagnosing equipment malfunctions or failures.
• Performing preventative maintenance, inspection, and correction of major and minor repairs on various equipment (with occasional welding & fabrication).
• Executing essential repairs on gas and diesel engines, transmissions, electrical and electronic systems, brakes, hydraulic systems, suspensions, steering, fuel systems.
• Completing Federal DOT inspections on commercial vehicles.
