Overview About the Role: DeepLearning.AI is seeking an AI-forward Recruiter to support our Lead Recruiter and help build a world-class talent engine. This role focuses on tactical recruiting executionsourcing candidates, screening, managing pipelines, coordinating interviews, and supporting offer processeswhile using advanced AI tools to reimagine how recruiting should work. This is not a traditional recruiter role; you will actively use AI tools to automate manual tasks, accelerate sourcing, and improve candidate experience. You will partner closely with our engineering team as a domain expert on recruiting and help shape our portfolio of AI-enabled recruiting tools. A key part of this role is hands-on full-cycle technical recruiting for AI engineers, data scientists, and full-stack engineers across our ecosystem of companies.
What Youll Do Technical Recruiting Execution: With assistance from AI systems, source and engage technical candidates across AI/ML, data science, software engineering, and full-stack development.
With AI assistance, screen inbound applicants and coordinate next steps with the Lead Recruiter.
Help host in-person recruiting events to engage candidates across the AI community.
Manage assigned pipelines from sourcing ? screening ? coordination ? close.
Draft outreach messages, schedule interviews, and maintain timely communication.
Support offer logistics and negotiation.
GenAI-Enabled Recruiting Extensively use our custom GenAI tools to accelerate sourcing, candidate research, screening, and automation of multiple steps of the recruiting workflow.
Experiment with new AI tools and continually refine how we recruit.
Partner With Engineering on AI Recruiting Tools Serve as a domain expert on recruiting pain points and priorities.
Test new AI recruiting tool prototypes and provide feedback.
Suggest features and improvements that will accelerate recruiting.
Help the team develop playbooks and best practices for AI-enabled recruiting.
Candidate Experience Ensure clear, warm, and timely communication for all candidates.
Represent DeepLearning.AIs brand and mission with professionalism and authenticity.
Process & Operations Keep ATS pipelines (Lever) clean, organized, and up to date.
Track recruiting metrics and surface insights that improve speed and quality.
Contribute to templates, checklists, and workflows that keep recruiting running smoothly.
What Were Looking For 13+ years in recruiting, sourcing, or talent coordination.
Hands-on experience hiring technical talent (AI/ML, DS, SWE, or full-stack).
Strong sourcing skills using a variety of information sources, such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
Experience managing multiple pipelines and coordinating across stakeholders.
Mindset GenAI-Forward: You regularly use AI tools to improve your work, and are eager to keep honing your AI skills.
Technical understanding: You can understand engineering roles well enough to screen effectively.
Detail-oriented: You keep well-organized pipelines, notes, and follow-through.
Collaborative: You enjoy partnering with both recruiting and engineering teams.
Work ethic and ownership: You take initiative and will work very hard to accomplish meaningful objectives.
Bonus Points Basic ability to write code (including using AI to write code for you).
Experience specifically recruiting AI talent.
Expertise with AI technology.
Familiarity with Lever or similar ATS tools.
Compensation: 90,000 - 130,000 a year
