DeepLearning.AI is seeking an AI-forward Recruiter to support our Lead Recruiter and help build a world‑class talent engine. This role focuses on tactical recruiting execution—sourcing, screening, managing pipelines, coordinating interviews, and supporting offer processes—while using advanced AI tools to reimagine the recruiting workflow. You’ll actively use AI to automate manual tasks, accelerate sourcing, and improve candidate experience. You’ll partner closely with engineering as a domain expert and help shape our portfolio of AI‑enabled recruiting tools. The role includes full‑cycle technical recruiting of AI engineers, data scientists, and full‑stack engineers across our ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
Source and engage technical candidates across AI/ML, data science, software engineering, and full‑stack development with AI assistance.
Screen inbound applicants and coordinate next steps with the Lead Recruiter.
Help host in‑person recruiting events to engage candidates across the AI community.
Manage assigned pipelines from sourcing → screening → coordination → close.
Draft outreach messages, schedule interviews, and maintain timely communication.
Support offer logistics and negotiation.
GenAI‑Enabled Recruiting
Extensively use our custom GenAI tools to accelerate sourcing, candidate research, screening, and automate multiple recruitment workflow steps.
Experiment with new AI tools and continually refine recruitment processes.
Partner With Engineering on AI Recruiting Tools
Serve as a domain expert on recruiting pain points and priorities.
Test new AI recruiting tool prototypes and provide feedback.
Suggest features and improvements that accelerate recruiting.
Help the team develop playbooks and best‑practice guidelines for AI‑enabled recruiting.
Candidate Experience
Ensure clear, warm, and timely communication for all candidates.
Represent the organization positively throughout the process.
Process & Operations
Keep ATS pipelines (Lever) clean, organized, and up to date.
Track recruiting metrics and surface insights that improve speed and quality.
Contribute to templates, checklists, and workflows that keep recruiting running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
1–3+ years in recruiting, sourcing, or talent coordination.
Hands‑on experience hiring technical talent (AI/ML, DS, SWE, or full‑stack).
Strong sourcing skills using a variety of information sources such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
Experience managing multiple pipelines and coordinating across stakeholders.
Mindset

Bonus Points
Basic ability to write code (including using AI to write code).
Experience specifically recruiting AI talent.

Familiarity with Lever or similar ATS tools.
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 a year
