Our Client is seeking an experienced
Ambulatory Surgery Coder
to support multiple surgical specialties, validate AI-assisted coding, and ensure accurate CPT, ICD-10, Modifiers, and HCPCS/implant documentation. What You’ll Do: Code Ambulatory Surgery charts across
Ortho, GI, Ophthalmology, ENT, Pain Management, and Neuro Assign
CPT, ICD-10, Modifiers , and notate
HCPCS/implants
used Validate AI-assisted coding outputs Work within
SIS Chart, Amkai Office, and EPIC Check email at least
4× per day
and maintain strong communication Meet productivity standards (e.g., Ortho: 11 min/case; Neuro: 9 min/case; Ophthalmology: 3 min/case) Schedule: Start between
7–9 AM EST ; must be online during
core hours 10 AM–2 PM EST Set schedule required; remote role What We’re Looking For: Any
AHIMA or AAPC certification Strong surgical coding experience Comfortable querying, asking questions, and collaborating with leadership Detail-oriented, proactive, and not someone who does the “bare minimum” Additional Details: Contract-to-Hire No state restrictions Client-provided equipment IT access setup may take up to 2 weeks
