DLP Staffing is currently accepting applications for the position of:

POSITION TITLE: Receptionist Location: Weslaco, TX

FLSA: Non-Exempt Hire Pay: $16 hourly Classification: Temporary

Job Description:
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist. The ideal candidate will handle front desk duties, assist with mail distribution, and support administrative functions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and preparing shipments.
  • Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring a clean and professional appearance.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference room bookings.
  • Handle data entry, filing, and other clerical tasks as needed.
  • Support various departments with administrative tasks, such as scanning, copying, and document preparation.
  • Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
  • Ensure security protocols are followed for visitor check-ins and deliveries.

Qualifications:
  • Good communication skills.
  • Bilingual is a must.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be punctual and dependable.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work overtime as assigned.
  • Must be able to comply with all safety requirements. 
  • Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk assistant, or similar role preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Professional and courteous demeanor.

Supervision Received and Exercised:
Receives supervision from the Manager. The position has no formal assigned supervisory responsibility or authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.

Working Conditions:
The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor environment.

Alcohol and Drug Testing Policy:
This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP STAFFING has a Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.

Minimum Qualifications:  Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of front desk experience preferred.
  • Must pass a background check.

Other:
Valid Driver's License.
