Salary Range: $84,000 - $129,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles within the manufacturing plant.
  • Manage employee relations, including grievance resolution, disciplinary actions, and conflict management.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures compliant with labor laws and manufacturing safety standards.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and employee development plans.
  • Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs tailored for the manufacturing workforce.
  • Coordinate and facilitate mandatory safety training and other professional development programs for all plant employees.
  • Provide HR guidance and support to plant management on workforce planning, retention, and operational efficiency initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR management experience, with a significant portion in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience in labor relations, including collective bargaining, grievance resolution, and union contract administration.
  • Strong background in full-cycle talent acquisition for skilled trades, production, and professional roles within manufacturing.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) specific to manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations issues in a diverse, multi-shift manufacturing workforce.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with union relations and collective bargaining.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Multi-site HR management experience.
  • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
