Newborn Nanny / Newborn Care Specialist (NCS)
to provide full-time, development‑focused care starting mid‑February 2026. The primary focus of this role is the care and development of their newborn son, including establishing consistent daily routines, supporting his growth, and implementing
age‑appropriate developmental activities
that promote
cognitive, emotional, social, and motor skill development . While the household has a medium‑sized dog, no care for the pet is required.

Key Responsibilities Infant & Early Childhood Development
Provide nurturing care that supports the child’s physical, emotional, cognitive, and social growth from infancy through early childhood
Support and establish age‑appropriate schedules and routines including sleep, feeding, play, and daily activities
Encourage developmental milestones through sensory exploration, tummy time, motor skill development, language and early literacy, and social‑emotional growth
Manage feeding, diapering, bathing, and sleep routines with attentiveness and consistency
Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic environment including sterilization of bottles, toys, and surfaces
Facilitate smooth transitions as the child grows, including introducing solids and supporting self‑feeding and independence
Track and document developmental progress, routines, and milestones, and communicate updates to parents
Adapt care and learning activities as the child grows to foster continuous developmental support
Encourage healthy habits, routines, and independence as the child develops
Family & Household Support
Assist with child‑related household tasks such as laundry, nursery organization, and tidying play areas
Prepare age‑appropriate meals and snacks and support the transition to solids
Coordinate outings, appointments, or enrichment activities to enhance learning and social experiences
Communicate proactively with parents regarding routines, milestones, and developmental updates
Ideal Candidate
Extensive experience as a Newborn Nanny, Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), or Infant Nanny
Strong understanding of newborn sleep, feeding, and developmental stages
Calm, patient, nurturing, and emotionally intuitive
Excellent communicator who collaborates well with parents
Inclusive, open‑minded, and comfortable supporting a diverse family structure, including same‑sex parents
Organized and dependable with strong newborn‑care management skills
Creative, engaging, and passionate about infant development

Mandarin or Taiwanese language skills are a plus (not required)

Qualifications
Certified and experienced as a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS)

CPR and Infant/Child First Aid certification required
Fluent in English ; Mandarin or Taiwanese language skills are a strong plus
Legal U.S. citizen or valid work authorization/visa documentation
