Job Description Summary TheClinical Consultantis responsible for the maintenance of customer relationships in assigned accounts, maintaining a high level of customer service at or above expectations, and demonstrating accountability for their part in theBD Sales Process. This position serves as an IV therapy clinical expert and utilizes consultative approach to plan for BD Infusion product implementations. The ClinicalConsultantmay support the Clinical Educator Consultant in providing educationto facilities considering or using BDInfusion products, hardware (device)and software (interoperability and connectivity), from presales throughout the implementation cycle. The positionleads presentations and discussions with key individuals or groups to address clinical issues and/or concerns, provides assessments, and offers the clinical value of the BD solution.

Overall responsibilities:

Demonstratesknowledge and understanding of relevant clinical operations, products, services,and competitive background products.

Provides clinical leadership to BD customers in the implementation of interoperability and connectivity products.

Interacts and supports Project Manager to ensure timely and productive implementations.

Collaborates with hospital cliniciansand EMRvendorto facilitate clinical workflows and participate in the development of policies and procedures.

Reviews and facilitates customer awareness of common HL7 error codes.

Escalates issues to clinical and technical SME when appropriate.

Provides follow up to customers, according to department guidelines/criteria, for the purpose of system assessment, customer satisfaction, problem solving, and evaluation of the BD product/solutions.

Develops recommendations to assure that customers experience the full benefit and capabilities of solutions implemented.

Ability to function in a highly regulated industry.

Skills, Duties and Tasks particular to the job:

Facilitation of conference calls and customer meetings forBDInfusion product implementations.

Establish rapport with customers that is conducive tolong termbusiness relationships.

Provide team support and product information on Infusionproducts as assigned by manager.

Supports mentoring of team members to ensure product and process competency.

Must possess leadership skills to manage customer teams, negotiate effectively, gain consensus within teams anddeliver concise and consistent communication.

Guides the review of customer site assessment and facilitates project design and implementation of Infusion products and technologies.

Provides feedback to Business Operations and Field Trainers for continuous improvement of implementation methodology, tools, and services.

Technical

Demonstrates knowledge of clinical workflow processes,

Ability to interact and guide diverse cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcome.

Demonstrates knowledge of established Infusionproduct implementation methodologies and tools or equivalent industry standards.

Must be detail oriented and able to coordinate complex projects consistent with established company and customer objectives.

Demonstrates critical thinking and ability to aid customers in improving current business/practice operations including standardization across hospital systems.

Demonstrates problem solving, troubleshooting and system consultation as it relates to clinical workflow and best practice considerations.

Install and supportBDInfusion hardwareand software solutions.

Influencescustomer acceptance and utilization ofBDInfusion products and services.

Expected to act as a customer support resource when necessary.

Qualifications

Current active Nursing Degree

4-6years of experience in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Driving requirements dictate that the candidate possessand maintain a valid driver license and be at least 21 years old.

Home based position with travel.Travel may range from75 - 100%, overnight travel. Position requires flexible working hours, including some nights and weekends. Ability to work independently from home office.

Mustbe able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Thisposition may involve pushing, pulling, stooping,bending,and lifting.

Preferred

Acute care hospital experience required preferably with nursing informatics or leadership experience; Pediatric, NICU, and Oncology experience highly desired.

Specific knowledge ofBD business a plus.

Upon hire,mustprovide proof of, and maintain current immunizations and obtain additional immunizations appropriate for the facility which enables access to customer sites in order to perform essential job functions. Proofs mustinclude:Hepatitis B, Influenza (current year), MMR (mumps, measles, rubella), Varicella (chicken pox) Annual TB/PPD (skin test), Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis, Covid-19.

Must meet vendor credential requirements for assigned customer sites.

Salary Range Information $87,500.00 - $144,400.00 USD Annual
