Senior Electrical Estimator – Construction
CyberCoders is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to lead estimate development and bid preparation for electrical construction projects.
Responsibilities
Develop accurate and timely electrical construction estimates for competitive bids and proposals.
Analyze and interpret detailed drawings and specifications.
Determine and price value‑engineered alternatives to plans and specifications.
Perform budget pricing from schematic drawings and narrative.
Lead the Estimating Department, including education and development of junior personnel.
Maintain and update computerized estimating programs and databases.
Work on change‑orders and cost‑to‑complete estimates for ongoing projects.
Create and communicate company standards for estimating electrical design/build and plans and specs work.
Review estimates created by others for accuracy and completeness.
Perform job handoffs from estimating to operations through clear scopes of work, specifications, and job‑specific conditions.
Qualifications
2+ years of electrical estimating experience.
Strong understanding of estimating software.
Team mentality and effective collaboration.
Experience with MS Office Suite, Accubid, LiveCount, McCormick, and ConEst preferred.
Bid or project list preferred but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 (depending on experience).
