Insight Global's client is a top marine communications client servicing both government and commercial clients. As their team continues to grow, they have opened an additional position for a Systems Engineer on their team. This person will fill a void of understanding their systems to ensure they can service their customers in the best way possible. Competencies
Design – Generates creative solutions; Translates concepts and information into images; Uses feedback to modify designs; Applies design principles; Demonstrates attention to detail. Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. Customer Service – Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments. Required Skills and Experience
Degree in systems engineering or equivalent experience 4-6+ years of systems engineering experience Experience with various tools such as DOORs, Clearcase, ClearQuest, Jira, Jama (preference to Rational DOORs) Understanding of the architecture and systems Analytical background and able to understand system, requirements, analyze gaps, and translate to customers – Good communication skills and documentation skills Ability to obtain a security clearance Able to come onsite 5 days a week in Deerfield Beach, FL Nice to Have Skills and Experience
Model-Based System Engineer (MBSE) experience Degree is preferred and additional education/certifications Shipboard integrated communications experience preferred or any sort of communications experience (radars, etc.) Position Details
