Duties
Electronics engineer responsible for functional verification of audio CODECs and other mixed‑signal products. Detailed responsibilities include verification planning, testbench development, failure analysis and resolution, coverage analysis and population, digital/mixed‑signal modeling, directed/constraint‑random test generation, formal verification analysis with execution, proficient knowledge of scripting languages and flow development. Candidates must work closely with digital/analog designers, applications engineers, and manufacturing test to support both pre‑silicon verification and post‑silicon validation efforts of integrated circuits employing knowledge of electronic theory and materials properties.
Qualifications and Responsibilities
Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of experience; alternatively, a Bachelor of Science in one of the above fields plus seven years of experience; or a PhD plus three years of experience. All candidates must have at least three years of hands‑on experience with complex SystemVerilog constructs such as assertions and coverage; knowledge of SystemVerilog programming language and associated verification methodology; ability to code complex code to hit verification requirements; knowledge of analog and digital design fundamentals; ability to understand and debug digital design blocks; ability to understand analog schematics conceptually; knowledge of both AMS and DMS verification; ability to model analog circuits functionally; and a practical understanding of challenges associated with analog mixed‑signal verification compared with digital‑only verification.
