Position Summary Be part of our Same Day Surgery Center Team in Burnsville with occasional travel to other Same Day Surgery Centers as needed.
We are looking for team members to support our growing services, with opportunities to provide patient care in our Surgery Centers. We have a fast‑paced multi‑specialty Surgical Center and are looking for candidates with a positive outlook and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities The Surgical Tech (CST) position practices under the direction of a Registered Nurse in an autonomous and collegial manner, integrating critical thinking skills, commitment, creativity, and caring.
Work Schedule
Full-time (1.0 FTE) – Day Shift
Variable/Flexible Start Times
Variable Shift Lengths
Rotating Late Shifts
Occasional travel to alternate sites per rotation
Required Qualifications
Certified through one of the following Surgical Technologist Programs:
CST at time of hire or obtain the certification within 12 months of hire.
NCCT at time of hire or obtain the certification within 36 months of hire.
Prior surgical tech experience (highly motivated new graduates considered).
1–2 years of sterile processing experience.
Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment for orthopedic procedures.
Knowledge of principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods.
Knowledge of age‑related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
Preferred Qualifications
SPD experience preferred – cross‑training to sterile processing.
Valid CPR or BLS certification.
