Principal Project Engineer – Ejection Seats (Onsite)
Location: Mission Systems (Ejec Seating), 1225 Aeroplaza Drive, Colorado Springs, CO, 80916, USA.

What You Will Do
Ensure processes are adhered to by the engineering execution team and liaise with program management and other IPT leads to assure technical goals are achieved.
Capture lessons learned.
Take ownership of technical project execution through Design & Development activities into Production.
Present project status to multiple levels of leadership.
Work as part of a cohesive team with test engineering, product engineering, system engineering, program management and operations.
Maintain and oversee Earned Value Management as a Cost Account Manager and Product Owner.
Break down work packages and tasking via Jira Work Packages and Stories.
Align on Agile execution for systems, test and mechanical design tasking.
Exhibit outstanding communication skills, especially cross-discipline.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong mentoring and delegating skills.
Show strong interpersonal skills and collaboration with team environments.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Agile experience; proficiency with Jira/Wiki.
EVMS/CAM experience.
Experience in systems requirement artifact breakdown.
Experience in test plan and execution artifact breakdown.
Qualifications We Prefer
Collins ISAT and EVMS/CAM experience.
Collins ALM: Jira and Wiki experience.
Experience in mechanical design processes.
Experience in Enovia/PDM.

Additional Information Onsite roles will work primarily onsite, including all production and maintenance employees essential to product development.
Salary Range: USD 101,000 – 203,000 (good faith estimate). RTX considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, candidate experience, location, education, and key skills when extending an offer.
