Responsibilities
Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to analyze requirements, architect solutions, and ensure successful delivery at the end of the project lifecycle.
Provides technical leadership and guidance to project teams.
Designs end‑to‑end technical solutions that address business requirements and align with architecture principles and standards.
Identifies technical risks and develops mitigation strategies.
Collaborates with development teams to ensure that technical solutions are implemented according to design specifications.
Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and solution quality.
Ensures that solutions adhere to security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Works closely with user experience, business analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Engages with stakeholders to communicate technical solutions, gather feedback, and address concerns.
Evaluates new and emerging technologies for inclusion in the State catalog.
Serves as team lead supervising multiple Information Technology Architects 1.
Qualifications
Non‑competitive: Seven years* of information technology experience, five years of which must be in the appropriate specialty**.
Substitutions: Associate’s degree with 15 semester credit hours in computer science or related field substitutes for one year of general information technology experience.
Bachelor’s degree in any field with 15 semester credit hours in computer science or related field substitutes for three years of general experience. Any bachelor’s degree substitutes for two years of general experience.
Master’s degree or higher in computer science or related field substitutes for one year of general experience.
Specialty includes experience as an IT architect in one or more of the following: artificial intelligence, cloud, data, enterprise, business, and solution.
Preferred: Minimum of five (5) years of IT experience on eightfold products or similar cloud‑based systems.
Additional Comments
ITS will not offer permanent employment to any candidate unless the candidate provides documentation that they are authorized to accept work in the United States on a permanent basis. It is the policy of ITS not to hire F1 or H1 visa holders for permanent employment or to sponsor non‑immigrant aliens for temporary work authorization visas or for permanent residence.
Fingerprinting and background check are required for employment with ITS.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Base Pay Range $106,898.00/yr - $131,665.00/yr
