We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Specialist to drive meaningful growth, support the sales team, and directly impact company success in a collaborative environment.
Role
Facilitate the sales process and help the team achieve annual new families/revenue goals
Own the prospect journey—prequalifying prospects, maintaining pipeline integrity, entering prospect details into Salesforce, attaching relevant notes, scheduling meetings, assigning tasks, and creating service agreements
Create and update business‑ proposals and presentation materials
Provide calendar management and scheduling support for business‑development activities
Develop reports, dashboards and ad‑hoc sales reporting for recurring operations and sales support
Attend and participate in sales team meetings
Coordinate regular (weekly or monthly) reporting on performance against target and activity reports
Collaborate with Business Development team members across the country, sharing best practices with the local team
Coordinate with multiple departments to create prospect‑facing materials
Conduct prospect research using LinkedIn and other sources
Assist in other special projects as needed
Experience
Undergraduate degree required; Marketing or Business degree preferred
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in sales, marketing and/or sales operations support
Commitment to excellence, attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills
Positive attitude, versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Self‑motivated starter capable of working independently and within a team environment
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce and MS Suite
Experience interacting with external prospects and supporting internal teammates
Compensation
Targeted base salary range: $70,000 – $100,000 /year
Variable compensation: 2 % of team New Client Annualized Run Rate Revenues each BD year, prorated based on start date (10/1 – 9/30)
