At ComputerXplorers, we bring technology to life for kids aged 5-13 through After School Clubs, Holiday Programs, and Weekend Academies. Our mission is simple: to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young minds while preparing them for a technology-driven future.
The Role You’ll be on the ground from day one, and this role will have a huge amount of variety. At its core, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and energetic STEM Instructor to join our team. In this role, you’ll deliver fun and engaging computer and technology classes to primary‑aged children in their own school. From coding and game design to robotics and digital creativity, you’ll guide kids through hands‑on adventures that blend learning with excitement. You’ll also play a key role in spreading the word about ComputerXplorers, delivering STEM incursions at schools, and helping secure new schools to run our after‑school tech clubs.
What You’ll Do
Plan and deliver engaging STEM lessons in schools and program venues
Support and inspire children to develop new skills and confidence
Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with our team and school staff to ensure smooth delivery
Set up and manage equipment before each class
Manage a team of instructors as we grow
Dual responsibility to help sell and secure new schools
What We’re Looking For
Experience teaching or coaching children (education, sports, tutoring, etc.)
Strong communication and organisational skills
A genuine passion for working with kids and sparking their interest in STEM
Ability to work independently and adapt on the go
Awareness of current educational technology trends is a bonus
Nice to Have (but not essential)
Bachelor’s degree in Education, STEM, or related field
First Aid certification
Driver’s licence
Pay based on experience, base + commission up to 50%
Full time, WFH for first few months
Ongoing training and development opportunities
