Job Summary

Solution Architect – 12‑month Contract To Hire, with long‑term potential. Locations: Atlanta, GA; Birmingham, AL; Charlotte, NC (Hybrid). Immediate need for a talented Solution Architect to partner with business and technology experts to translate business requirements into innovative technology solutions. Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range:

$60–$65 per hour . Employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan and paid sick leave (location dependent). Key Responsibilities

Partner with business and technology subject‑matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions. Participate in the design and modeling of architectures for delivery, development, and support of projects. Collaborate with other domain architects to provide a consensus‑based, scalable, and adaptable architectural solution. Collaborate on roadmaps to ensure enough architectural runway to align IT priorities with business partner requirements and strategies. Promote the reuse of services, components, frameworks, and infrastructure as code to reduce costs and improve information flow. Support team members on the design of deployment strategies and solutions. Look for opportunities to simplify code, existing or new architectures, and vendor dependencies. Build and maintain technical trusted‑advisor relationships with influential technical decision makers within Technology. Make recommendations to improve application operational efficiency, enhance program usage and increase program understanding. Work closely with Cyber Security to understand network, application, and data security requirements. Work with all stakeholders to understand non‑functional requirements that may materially impact solution architecture. Ensure solutions are observable and secure by design. Key Requirements & Technology Experience

Solution Architect with experience in AWS Services, API Management, and Open Banking. Experience with Open Banking domain, FDX, aggregators, AWS, API Gateway, ECS, S3, and cloud infrastructure. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field and at least 3 years of enterprise or technical architecture experience; alternatively, high school diploma/GED with 7+ years of relevant experience. Experience of N‑tier architectures and complex design architectures. Strong technical, application, and information architecture delivery techniques and methodologies. Open Banking knowledge is a must. Aggregators, digital banking, API, AWS cloud services knowledge. Proficiency in design patterns to translate business requirements into technical strategies. Ability to document designs using BPMN, UML, and other notational standards. Hands‑on programming depth in at least one language such as Java, Go, C#, Rust, or Python. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, platforms, and serverless architectures (AWS, Azure plus). Knowledge of containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift plus). Knowledge of security design techniques. Understanding of middleware, .NET, Java EE, Oracle, and related technologies. SENIORITY LEVEL
