The Opportunity As a

Process Engineer

with the Gas Processes Team, you will have the opportunity to:

Lead process engineering design of chemical facilities, including LNG, Carbon Capture, Hydrogen, Fertilizers (Ammonia, Urea, etc.), Gasification, Fermentation, Sulfur Recovery, Gas Treatment, Biofuels, Syngas Processing, and NGL Recovery and Fractionation.

Lead implementation of solutions through the project lifecycle: feasibility, FEL stages, FEED, detailed design, EPC and commissioning.

Mentor junior engineers and review junior engineers’ work.

Key Responsibilities

Provide guidance and direction on department design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and B&V policies. Own, maintain, update, or develop engineering standards and guides. Provide technical guidance to others regarding projects or disciplines.

Apply knowledge and ensure compliance with B&V quality program. Establish related processes and promote a culture that is conducive to quality. Support continuous improvement, change management and risk management efforts.

Prepare a variety of complex engineering deliverables for multiple or mega projects. Perform complex research and develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection. Oversee collection, assimilation, and management of data for engineering work.

Prepare complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles. Manage assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements. Develop and apply advanced engineering solutions to complex problems. Review lower level engineering work or assignments and ensure proper delegation of tasks within project teams.

Actively coordinate with all other internal/external team members on complex projects. Define project schedules for single or multiple disciplines.

Determine identification of key client interests and drivers on projects. Communicate client interests and drivers to project team members and develop approaches to accommodate these concerns.

Identify future client needs to better position B&V for the future. Offer additional services to the client and support business development or pursuit activities.

Act as the technical specialist in a broad area or a narrow specialized field. Develop and apply advanced engineering concepts to unique problems. Serve as an industry expert, present papers, lead in professional societies, or consult on large projects.

Oversee performance management, career planning, recognition, learning and development, and corrective actions. Mentor lower level and mid‑level professionals and identify successors.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.

Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.

Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search). Compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Work Environment / Physical Demands Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
