Job Description
We are looking for a Release Manager who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing software releases across multiple Flex development streams (2 Equity streams in Python and C++, and 1 Fixed Income stream), within a Murex-integrated environment. Working with roughly 15 team members across quant and development teams, the role ensures end-to-end delivery—from requirements gathering and test coordination through UAT and production deployment—while maintaining quality standards, timelines, and full compliance with organizational governance and risk management policies
Key Responsibilities
Release Planning & Scheduling Develop and maintain release calendars, coordinate Go‑Live activities, and manage dependencies across applications and teams.
Governance & Compliance Ensure adherence to technology governance frameworks, operational risk controls, and regulatory requirements.
Coordination & Communication Act as the primary liaison between development, QA, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth release execution.
Risk Management Identify potential release risks, implement mitigation strategies, and validate rollback plans.
Continuous Improvement Monitor release metrics, analyze performance, and recommend process enhancements, including automation and CI/CD improvements.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
+3y of proven experience in release management or software delivery roles.
Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, ServiceNow, or equivalent.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience in regulated environments (e.g., financial services).
Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
