Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
5-7 years of human resource management experience preferred.

Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic partner to the Executive Director.
Address and resolve complex employee-related issues and potential legal risks, ensuring compliance with company policies and external regulations.
Manage the new hire 30, 60, 90-day review process, as well as the annual performance review ensuring consistency and effectiveness in evaluating employee performance.
Administer employee leave of absence, ensuring compliance with FMLA, CFRA, PFL, etc., and integrating appropriate compensation seamlessly.
Lead termination processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Oversee salary reviews for Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) and market adjustments to ensure fair and competitive compensation practices.
Payroll Administration
Oversee the end-to-end bi-weekly and monthly payroll process, including 401K administration, deferrals, and distributions, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees.
Manage the attendance bonus program, including tracking eligible employees, calculating bonuses, and ensuring timely payment.
Ensure compliance with overtime (OT) labor laws, including proper calculation and documentation of overtime hours and rates.
Benefits & Compensation
Work with brokers to select benefit plans and conduct the annual open enrollment meeting with brokers and all employees.
Ensure accurate and timely enrollment of employees in selected benefit plans, addressing any discrepancies or issues as needed.
Ensure benefit compliance through Non-Discrimination Testing (NDT) for profit-sharing and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) benefits, ensuring adherence to IRS regulations and guidelines.
Administer annual Affordable Care Act (ACA) approvals, including reviewing employee eligibility for healthcare coverage, processing necessary documentation, and ensuring compliance with ACA regulations.
Complete annual Form 5500 and Form 8955-SSA for 401(k) compliance, ensuring accurate and timely submission to regulatory authorities.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
Lead the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and selection to hiring, pre-hire checks, onboarding, and orientations.
Conduct HR orientation sessions for new employees, reviewing firm policies, relevant labor laws, and employee benefits to ensure understanding and compliance.
Coordinate and track mandatory sexual harassment training for all employees, ensuring timely completion and documentation.
Facilitate WISP (Written Information Security Program) training for employees, educating them on cybersecurity protocols and best practices to protect sensitive information.
Oversee Attorney Buddy Program.
Develop and maintain training materials and resources for HR orientation, sexual harassment training, and WISP training, keeping content up-to-date and relevant.
Provide support and guidance to new hires throughout the onboarding process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
