Position Summary The Director of Service and Outreach will be responsible for fostering a student-centric collaborative culture focused on engagement working in conjunction with all aspects of the school including academics, student life, athletics, arts, and campus ministry. This position will develop and execute comprehensive service and outreach strategies to engage prospective students, alumni, community partners, and stakeholders. Align outreach initiatives with institutional enrollment goals, diversity objectives, and strategic priorities. Establish and maintain partnerships with local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community groups.

Admission Duties

Work with the Enrollment Management Director on a multi-year enrollment/outreach plan to recruit new students as well as advertising, campus visits, and communication for all events

Coordinate the Student Ambassador Program

Help coordinate Brave For A Day visits, Partner School Visits, and other admissions events

Communicate regularly with prospective families

Have deep knowledge of the Admissions Process as well as all aspects of student life and academic

Build relationships with community partners

Service/Outreach Duties

This position oversees, develops and implements a comprehensive service learning program for students in alignment with the Lasallian school mission

Represent Justin-Siena at community events, conferences, and professional gatherings

Coordinate volunteer programs and community engagement initiatives including mentorship opportunities for students

Lead long-term planning for community engagement and service-learning initiatives

Develop service-learning opportunities and community-based projects for students

Coordinate service immersion programs such as Venaver, freshman service experience, and other related activities

Create community partnerships with organizations who can provide student and adult community members opportunities related to service

Work to bring students, parents, and community partners to our campus to expand and deepen community partnerships

Collaborate and partner with Lasallian Student Life and Campus Ministry to develop, coordinate, and enhance programming for service and student engagement

Evaluate service and outreach program effectiveness

Use MobileServe systems to manage prospect relationships and outreach contacts

Collaborate with Advancement/Communications to develop outreach materials and messaging

Ensure mission consistency across all outreach communications and opportunities

Develop and manage service and outreach budgets for activities and events

Physical Requirements The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some kneeling, and significant fine finger dexterity.

Ability to embrace, support, and enhance the mission, goals, and values of Justin-Siena

A bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications, or related field and two-three years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge of and ability to use MS Office and Google Suite and school learning management systems

Ability to set and follow timelines and work independently

Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a caring and supportive manner

Ability to interact with students, parents, alumni, and the public responsively and professionally

Strong relationship-building skills, cultural competency, public speaking abilities

Ability to work for long hours in a sedentary job in front of a computer

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required, with an emphasis on crafting a compelling message

Ability to maintain confidential office information, including donors, donations and alumni information

Detail oriented and skilled at maintaining the organization and management of multiple projects at once and on a timeline throughout the year.

Demonstrated ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision, exercise initiative and judgment; to prioritize and organize workload to complete assignments in a timely manner, and to make decisions within the scope of assigned authority.

Ability to handle deadlines and stressful situations in a calm, orderly and customer service oriented manner

Capacity to work flexibly including evenings and weekends

Position Reports to: Alicia Valdivia, VP for Enrollment Management and Joe Welling, Principal

Position hours: Exempt - 11 Month Employee

Compensation: 75,000 - 85,000
