A nationally respected building systems engineering group is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for its Portland office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys complex projects, client interaction, and mentoring junior engineers while growing into higher leadership.

Pay Range $97,000 – $115,000 per year (plus conditional bonus)
What You Will Do
Lead electrical design on multidisciplinary MEP projects
Support work across commercial, healthcare, biotech, education, and transportation sectors
Deliver electrical system design from concept through construction
Participate in client meetings and provide technical guidance
Support project managers with scope, coordination, and quality control
What You Bring Required:
BS in Electrical Engineering
Ten or more years of MEP consulting or building systems design experience
Project management background within the MEP environment
Strong communication and client‑facing skills
Full understanding of building codes
Solid knowledge of electrical systems and design standards
Preferred:
PE license or comparable experience
LEED accreditation
Experience with Revit
