$66,500-$75,000 base pay (DOE) with generous wage growth

THE ROLE As an entry civil engineer within our Land Development group, you will thrive with the exposure and gain experience through a variety of civil engineering‑related opportunities. Under the guidance of a Professional Engineer, the entry engineer will learn the planning, design and construction of site‑development projects for clients across a spectrum of work to include residential, commercial, industrial, or mixed‑use developments. During the construction phase, the engineer will provide oversight and support the implementation of the plans. These responsibilities include:
Work with the client and project team to interpret the overall site development plan and translate it into detailed engineering drawings.
Support project tasks including technical report writing and coordination with multidisciplinary team, architects, and clients.
Participate in assessing the suitability of the site for development.
Assist with the design and planning for infrastructure projects such as roads, utilities, drainage systems, and grading.
Learn and understand regulatory requirements and assist with necessary permitting to meet project requirements.
Participate in the development engineering design process from conception to completion.
Learn how to formulate cost estimates and prepare and manage budgets.
Provide construction administration service support during the construction phase of the project.

YOUR STRENGTHS
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction engineering technology, or equivalent ABET‑accredited engineering program
0–3+ years of experience with civil engineering design and construction projects
Engineer‑In‑Training (EIT) professional designation preferred or willing to obtain soon after hire
Exposure to engineering design software such as AutoCAD or Civil3D
Technical mindset for troubleshooting and resolving complex problems
Strong communication, both verbal and written
Possess a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record is required for periodic travel
