AWS Observability organization is seeking a proactive, customer‑service obsessed, and team‑oriented Executive Assistant to support a VP leader in the Seattle, WA office. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests. The Assistant will act as a seamless extension of the supported VP, working closely with other Executive Assistants and across the Security Services and Observability business. Five days a week in office is required.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership to plan and organise events, activities, and calendars.
Orchestrate complex calendars, scheduling requirements, and prioritisation of executive's tasks across time zones.
Serve as a trusted liaison between executive leadership and key stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and managing sensitive information with discretion.
Execute end‑to‑end travel logistics for international and domestic trips, including complex itineraries, client‑facing events, and team visits.
Lead the planning of events including staff meetings, all‑hands meetings, executive off‑sites, and team‑building activities.
Collaborate with the EA Community across AWS to drive best practices, implement solutions, and improve organisational efficiency.
Develop and maintain tracking systems for critical deliverables, ensuring on‑time completion and providing status updates to stakeholders.
Have fun at work and help others do the same.
Basic Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
5+ years of senior‑level leadership support experience.
Experience managing executive‑level calendars.
Experience coordinating domestic or international travel.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading process improvements.
Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑tech company.
Experience designing processes to maximise efficiency.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.
