About The Role KITSCH is currently looking for a proactive and results‑driven Warehouse Manager to lead the efficient operation of their shift. In this role, you won’t just maintain daily operations; you’ll actively plan and execute key warehouse activities, manage inventory accuracy (including cycle counting and reconciliation), and lead, train, and motivate the warehouse team to operate in a safe and productive manner.
Responsibilities
Plan and perform warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, shipping and inventory management
Supervise general labor, warehouse administrative support, and assist the warehouse manager as needed with daily tasks
Manage data entry into the inventory management system of product for all transactions and keep accurate inventory by location
Lead the cycle counting process, reconcile data to resolve inventory discrepancies and set processes in place to improve inventory accuracy
Coordinate with QC/QA to quarantine and release inventory once approved
Train team members as needed
Assure warehouse equipment is operated safely and maintained in good working condition
Coordinate staffing needs for the warehouse with the warehouse manager
In coordination with the warehouse manager, oversee the hiring, firing, coaching, and disciplinary actions of department staff and/or contract staff
Responsible for warehouse team building activities, daily management, staff training and disciplining, and labor coordinating
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years of demonstrable experience in a warehouse/distribution supervisory or management role.
Inventory Management (WMS/IMS):
Proven experience handling Inventory Management Systems (IMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and a high level of proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate records.
Warehouse Procedures:
Extensive knowledge of standard warehouse operating procedures (SOPs), including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
Inventory Control:
Experience leading or executing cycle counting processes and inventory reconciliation to resolve discrepancies.
Safety and Operations:
Knowledge of warehouse safety and occupational health regulations (OSHA, etc.) and experience ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
Team Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, motivate, and discipline operational and administrative staff (general labor, administrative support).
Communication:
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to coordinate effectively with the Warehouse Manager, the team, and other departments (such as QC/QA).
Education:
A technical or university degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
MS Office/Google Suite:
Proficiency in office tools for reporting and analysis (Excel/Sheets).
Soft Skills
