Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Tax Senior Manager to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee all aspects of our tax teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations, and for developing and implementing strategic tax initiatives.

Responsibilities

Oversee all tax operations, including tax planning, compliance, and filing processes.

Develop and implement strategic tax initiatives to optimize the company’s tax position.

Manage relationships with external tax consultants and regulatory authorities.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Collaborate with other departments to provide tax advice and guidance on business decisions.

Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Stay updated with latest tax law changes and ensure that necessary changes are implemented in the company’s tax strategies.

Review complex tax returns and provide recommendations for improvements.

Coordinate audits by various taxation authorities.

Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures related to taxation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA designation is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax management role, in public accounting.

Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

Proven experience with partnerships and a strong understanding of partnership taxation.

Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing and developing a high‑performing team.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non‑tax professionals.

Proficiency in tax software and other relevant computer applications.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

High level of integrity and professionalism.
