Work Schedule Monday - Friday; some weekends/evenings
Full‑time position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts, Long Term Disability, and several voluntary supplemental benefit offerings. JOB SUMMARY The Director II, Donation Acquisition leads Goodwill of Colorado's strategic initiatives to increase donated goods volume through community partnerships, dynamic retail collaborations, nonprofit alliances, and innovative donor engagement strategies. This role builds strong community and business relationships that expand the organization's reach, visibility, and donation footprint, ultimately fueling Goodwill's mission to help individuals achieve independence through education, training, and employment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Create, test and evaluate innovative donation concepts.
In coordination with Real Estate Director, identify, negotiate and manage partnerships with Real Estate owners to execute material donation collection.
With proper resource support, build material collections.
Collaborate with Development Team to execute workplace donation programs.
Work closely with internal Marketing Department to co‑brand community campaigns and highlight corporate partners.
Collaborate with Operations and Logistics divisions to ensure efficient collection and servicing of all new donation sites and the accurate counting and measurement of donations.
Along with Goodwill's Community Engagement Manager, this individual represents Goodwill of Colorado at community coalitions.
Analyze donation trends, community demographics, and market gaps, in conjunction with the Real Estate Director, to identify new opportunities.
Lead quarterly innovation sessions to test new engagement models.
Track, analyze, and report on donation growth metrics and partnership performance.
Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership.

Education
A Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Experience
8 plus years of experience in Business Development and Sales.
Two (2) years supervisory experience required.
Familiarity with Retail Real Estate is a plus.
Experience with PlacerAI or other software tools is a plus.
Other
Proven success in building partnerships and executing strategic initiatives.
Strong relationship building, communication, and analytical skills.
Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite and databases required.
The incumbent will be required and must have the ability to drive for company business*.
*Per auto vehicle insurance carrier requirements: For applicants/employees to qualify for inclusion on the Goodwill driver insurance schedule, for purpose of driving Goodwill fleet vehicles, or for purpose of receiving company mileage reimbursement they must be at least: 19 years of age (not engaged in passenger transportation), 25 - 70 years of age for all passenger transportation services, 21 years of age for CDL.
