Exciting opportunity to join the inaugural Ascension Seton OB Hospitalist group in Austin, Texas! As we prepare for the grand opening of our state–of–the art Women's Health Tower at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin – a facility designed to deliver comprehensive patient–centered care across the spectrum of women's health – we are establishing a dedicated
Obstetric Hospitalist Program . This team will enhance safety, continuity, and patient satisfaction through 24/7 onsite obstetric coverage at 2 sites and weekend coverage at a third site. The
Obstetric Hospitalist
will provide round–the–clock inpatient obstetric care, ensuring immediate availability for labor and delivery triage, emergent obstetric events, and inpatient consultations. The ideal candidate is a board–certified/board – eligible OB/GYN who thrives in a fast paced environment and is committed to deliver high quality, evidence based care. Position Highlights: 3 site choices – Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin, Ascension Seton Medical Center Williamson in Round Rock, Texas and Dell Children's Medical Center Special Delivery Unit Flexible scheduling models available including 12 or 24–hour shifts Full–time, part–time or PRN available Anticipated commitment of service of this group to each of the 3 sites includes: Dell Children's Medical Center –
24/7, 7 days/week ; Ascension Seton Medical Center Williamson –
Friday, 5pm to Monday, 8am ; Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin –
7pm to 7am weekdays, Friday, 7pm to Monday, 7am . Compensation is per hour determined by acuity level of the patients: Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin – 200/hr; Ascension Seton Medical Center Williamson – 180/hr; Dell Children's Medical Center – 150/hr
