Tax Manager (Generalist)

Position Overview The Tax Manager (Generalist) will oversee complex tax compliance and consulting engagements, guide staff, deliver exceptional client service, and contribute to the continued growth of the tax practice.

Key Responsibilities

Review complex tax returns and ensure accuracy and compliance.

Delegate and oversee tax preparation and research tasks.

Prepare complex business income tax returns.

Provide tax planning, consulting, and financial projections.

Manage client relationships and service delivery.

Mentor and develop tax staff members.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting; Master’s in taxation preferred.

Active CPA license required.

4–7 years of public accounting experience.

Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.

Strong Excel skills and familiarity with tax workflow software preferred.

Excellent communication skills and strong professional ambition.
