Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the workflow and administrative functions of the Regional Credit Department with Credit Underwriters and Commercial Lenders to ensure timely turnaround and appropriate underwriting of credit requests.
Coordinate and administer training of Credit Underwriters in credit, collateral, and cash flow analysis, including commercial loan documentation review, regulatory issues, and loan policies/procedures.
Oversee personnel‑related duties: new hire selection, annual MBOs, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
Manage loan request processing: ensure all required information is collected, address deficiencies, assess status, schedule completion, and prioritize workloads.
Review credit underwriting memorandums for completeness and accuracy, resolve deficiencies, and submit to the Loan Committee.
Prepare and distribute Loan Committee Minutes.
Maintain compliance: knowledge of laws, regulations, internal controls, and training requirements.
Provide portfolio management functions to the line of business.
Support new money requests, prepare spreads, cash flow calculations, loan modifications, extensions, and approvals.
Support other line of business functions as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field; advanced credit analysis and loan structuring training required.
5-7 years of commercial credit analysis experience and 1-2 years supervisory experience.
Proficient in credit analysis techniques, loan structuring, documentation, banking policies, and regulations.
Strong training, mentoring, management, and interpersonal skills.
PC proficiency: Microsoft Word and Excel.
