Senior Civil Engineer (PE Required) – Massachusetts
We’re partnering with a well-established civil engineering firm in
Central/Northeastern Massachusetts
that is looking to add a Senior Civil Engineer to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to step into a leadership role, mentor junior engineers, and manage impactful land development projects from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
Lead site/civil and land development projects
Oversee design, permitting, and construction coordination
Prepare site plans, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater reports
Present to planning boards, conservation commissions, and regulatory agencies
Mentor junior engineers and review project deliverables
Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communication
What We’re Looking For
Active MA PE license
(or ability to obtain)
10+ years of civil engineering experience, ideally in land development
Strong Civil 3D proficiency
Hands‑on experience with stormwater design, grading, utilities, and local/state permitting
Confident communicator who can engage with municipalities and clients
Ability to manage multiple projects independently
