A leading employee-owned engineering and design firm is seeking an experienced
Senior Civil Engineer
to lead complex land development and infrastructure projects for federal and institutional clients. This role offers the chance to work on meaningful projects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of civil site projects including grading, stormwater management, utilities, and environmental permitting.
Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
Serve as the primary client contact, fostering long-term relationships and delivering successful project outcomes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil design with other engineering and architectural disciplines.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers, promoting technical growth and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia or the ability to obtain reciprocity within 3 months.
Minimum
10 years of experience
in civil engineering, with a focus on
land development and site design .
Proficiency in
AutoCAD Civil 3D ; experience with MicroStation or InRoads preferred.
Strong understanding of
federal, state, and local
regulations governing site design and environmental compliance.
Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to obtain a security clearance.
Preferred Skills:
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills in managing multiple, concurrent projects.
Familiarity with regional stormwater regulations and permitting processes.
Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
