About the Role Would you like to be part of a business helping hyper‑growth Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) innovate and exceed revenue goals? Do you have the business savvy skills to motivate a cross‑functional team—including sales, product and alliances—to deliver business growth for AWS and our ISV partners?

AWS seeks an experienced Sr. Account Manager for selling to strategic ISV customers and expanding business with our hottest ISV partners. The role requires setting a long‑term strategy and executing daily to grow customer revenue, building and maintaining broad relationships, developing and managing opportunities, and facilitating a large team of extended resources.

Role & Responsibilities

Team with all facets of the customer’s organization, including C‑level executives, engineering, IT/operations, partner organization, and sales.

Build relationships across accounts using creative systems thinking, visionary planning, and collaborative execution.

Sell strategically at the highest levels within the account while implementing a broad strategy that earns customer acceptance and service implementation.

Collaborate with AWS resources—Executives, Partners, Support, Solution Architect—to support customer interests and advocate for the customer in harmony with AWS business needs.

Own new service adoption and new line‑of‑business development, with dotted‑line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration.

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, selling to C‑level executives.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years building profitable partner ecosystems.

Experience developing detailed go‑to‑market plans.
