NovoKind
About NovoKind
America is facing a maternal health crisis.
35% of U.S. counties have no maternity care , leaving
2.3 million women
without basic perinatal support. Many travel 50+ miles for lactation help, postpartum guidance, or urgent newborn questions that cannot wait.
No mother should have to go through pregnancy or postpartum alone because of where she lives. NovoKind was built to change that.
We’re creating the first
provider-first virtual perinatal care platform
specifically designed for families in maternity care deserts. Our model unifies IBCLCs, doulas, LCSWs, dietitians, nurses, pelvic-floor therapists, and behavioral-health specialists into one coordinated, continuous care system.
What makes NovoKind different: 24/7 access to lactation, perinatal, behavioral, and newborn support Multi-specialty, culturally competent clinicians in one virtual home Inclusive support for all family structures, including LGBTQ+ parents Seamless continuity from pregnancy through postpartum and early infancy Built for counties and communities where clinicians simply don’t exist Traditional maternal care systems were not designed for these families.
We are.
Why This Matters
Maternal care deserts lead to: Higher maternal mortality Increased postpartum depression Dangerous reliance on emergency departments Delayed lactation support and early feeding complications Fragmented coordination between OBs, doulas, nurses, and pediatric care
NovoKind aims to build the most accessible, inclusive, and affordable perinatal support network in the country, one that meets families where they are, not where services happen to be available.
Why Healthcare Leaders Are Joining Our Advisory Board Healthcare professionals understand this crisis better than anyone — and your expertise can save lives.
Advisory Board Members contribute strategic guidance across: 1. Clinical Insight & Protocol Development Shape perinatal, lactation, behavioral-health, and postpartum pathways for communities with limited resources. 2. Care Desert & Health Equity Strategy Advise on culturally competent care models, rural access, and equitable support frameworks. 3. Care Model Innovation Provide perspective on multi-disciplinary collaboration among IBCLCs, doulas, nurses, therapists, and newborn-care specialists. 4. Strategic Partnerships Offer insight — or warm introductions — to hospitals, Medicaid programs, FQHCs, community health networks, maternal health collaboratives, or digital-health leaders. 5. Adoption, Quality & Outcomes Help guide how NovoKind measures impact, supports families, and maintains quality across all specialties. This is a
high-level, strategic, low-time-commitment role
designed for experienced leaders who want to influence the future of maternal health.
