Herzog Energy, Inc., is currently seeking a highly motivated

General Superintendent

in the United States to join our team. Duties and Responsibilities

This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position. Oversee the management of construction activities and task assignments. Collaborate with other departments to ensure all required materials, equipment and inspections support the project schedule. Work with Project Manager(s) to budget, forecast, and manage craft labor, equipment, materials, small tools, consumables, and general working environment. Ensure construction documents are reviewed for completeness and constructability. Lead the creation, review and update project schedule and three-week look ahead scheduling. Oversee the development and implementation of site utilization plan and establish crew sizes. Drive effective pre-construction planning sessions and project site meetings. Identify hiring needs and participate in hiring, discipline, and dismissal decisions if needed. Implement Mortenson’s Zero Injury Safety Program at project site. Manage and lead open shop and union issues. Develop relationships with all visitors to the site: customers, architects, union representatives, subcontractors, etc. Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position. Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience. Minimum 14 years construction management or related experience. Experience working on different projects at the same time. Basic understanding of multiple Mortenson systems (i.e., labor, financial, safety, quality, scheduling, and planning). Microsoft Office skills. Positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills. Demonstrated emotional intelligence; i.e., being aware of emotions and motivations of self and others. Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback. Ability to travel up to 100% Valid driver’s license. Pre-Employment Requirements

Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review. Maintain a valid driver's license and endorsements as required per position. Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen due to the safety sensitive nature of this position. Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis. Physical Requirements

The physical demands described below must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this role. This is a non-exhaustive overview of the physical requirements of this job. Perform light work, occasionally exerting up to 20 pounds of force. Able to walk on uneven surfaces. Occasionally ascend/descend step ladders and/or stairs. Regularly sit and stand for an extended period of time. Regularly kneel, bend, and squat. Must successfully pass color/vision examinations as required by the position. Must be able to hear and distinguish auditory signals as required by the position. Able to work in conditions with loud noise; work on/around heavy/moving machinery. Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet). Safety
