The ideal candidate is
an accomplished fire service leader
who combines operational credibility with strong administrative ability. Candidates should bring a record of leadership success and independent decision‑making, a strong operational background respected by peers and subordinates, and demonstrated experience with Incident Command. The ideal candidate is collaborative, approachable, and decisive, with excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to teamwork and mentorship. Position requires five years of experience in primary fire service functions, including two years in a command position (Battalion or Division Chief), and a bachelor’s degree.
Salary range is $235,045–$352,569. Pay beyond the control point of $293,807 may be awarded for exceptional qualifications and experience. Salary supplemented by an attractive benefits package.
