As a Full Time Nurse Practitioner (NP), you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Pleasanton, CA. The scheduled hours anticipated will be Monday-Friday 8am‑5pm.

Essential Functions

Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.

Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.

Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care.

Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.

Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies.

Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed.

Maintain patient health records and ensure accurate and up‑to‑date documentation.

Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Maintain a state RN license/certificate to practice.

Maintain a Nurse Practitioner license/certificate to practice.

Maintain State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable).

Hold a Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice).

Hold a State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (list of states) or New York ROPES registration.

Hold current national certification (ANCC or AANP required).

Have a Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing, a copy of transcripts is required).

Hold current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for healthcare providers; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.

Have at least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department setting.

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $155,200 - $194,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
