As a full-time Physician Assistant (PA), you will provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Pleasanton, CA. Scheduled hours anticipated will be Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm.
Essential Functions
Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of a Physician.
Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and manage infections.
Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, provide home‑going instructions, and assist in continuity of care.
Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, and health maintenance.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical problems and healthcare needs.
Record physical findings and formulate a plan and prognosis based on the patient’s condition, providing written home‑going instructions.
Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to prepare a comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
Prescribe or recommend medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
Refer patients to physicians for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
Maintain medical records using electronic medical record software (or other software as used in the center).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
All state licenses/certifications to practice.
Board of Pharmacy prescribing license (if applicable, required in NV).
Current national certification (NCCPA required).
Degree from an ARC‑PA accredited program.
Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable).
State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (various states listed).
CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer or ACLS – the card must include hands‑on evaluation of skills by the trainer/instructor; online courses alone are not accepted; the course must meet American Heart Association standards).

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $155,200 – $194,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
