Committed to supporting the community and participating in meaningful charitable initiatives, Vision Loft aims to expand its patient base, introduce emerging diagnostic technologies, and maintain its reputation as a trusted provider of exceptional, family-friendly eye care near major shopping destinations.**What you'll do:**As an optometrist at Vision Loft, you will perform comprehensive eye exams utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment such as the OCT Maestro/TopCon, Humphrey Visual Field, Topographer-Meibographer, Optos, and Lumenis Optilight. Your responsibilities include specialized testing and screenings for ocular diseases like glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration, as well as diagnosing and managing a range of eye conditions. You’ll prescribe corrective lenses, educate patients on eye health, and ensure accurate recordkeeping while collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver a seamless, personalized patient experience. On average, you will conduct 16 to 18 comprehensive exams per day with the assistance of optometric technicians, and with additional appointment slots available for dilations, contact lens follow-ups, and medical visits as needed to meet the diverse needs of our patients. With the flexibility to set your own weekly hours and weekends off to relax and recharge, you’ll enjoy a supportive work environment tailored to your lifestyle.**Who you are:**You demonstrate a strong background in advanced ocular disease management, including glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal conditions, as well as expertise in specialized screenings, imaging, and comprehensive eye exams. Proficiency in myopia management, dry eye therapies, specialty contact lens fitting, and binocular vision or vision therapy is highly valued. You’re comfortable using modern diagnostic technology and electronic health records, possess excellent clinical skills in diagnosis, management, and corrective lens prescribing, and exhibit outstanding patient communication and attention to detail.
